Social media design is more than content creation, it’s the art of visual storytelling in motion. Over the years, I’ve designed and managed campaigns that meet audiences where they are, adapting tone and design to the community I serve. From promoting college speaker series and student achievements to leading district-wide awareness efforts for California water, each campaign is crafted with the goal to make information meaningful. In my current role at Westlands Water District, I’ve helped build a digital presence that blends creativity with communication strategy. Projects like Wayback Wednesdays, which merge archival history with modern design flair, and Wesley the Water Drop mascot campaigns, which humanize complex water issues through humor and heart, to show how thoughtful storytelling can turn facts into connection. Other highlights include milestone projects such as the Westlands Water District High School Scholarship series, National Invasive Species Awareness Week, and seasonal outreach that celebrates grower stewardship while educating the public on how water sustains California’s food supply. Each post is designed not just to capture attention, but to build understanding and pride in California agriculture. What began as a fun goofy evergreen post has evolved into shaping institutional voice, designing not just for engagement metrics, but for public trust. Key roles: Campaign strategy, graphic design, video production, storytelling, analytics review, and content direction.
